Konstruction Khronicles: Wishlist

Saliheen and I have never bothered about coupons or vouchers before but after our last shopping experience, we've gone a little mad trying to see if we can get any from our banks or telcos haha!

No luck so far though - Saliheen's card points dah automatically deducted for rebates (bummer!) and my Starhub rewards do not include departmental store vouchers. Except for Robinsons vouchers, which are already sold out pfft I could have gotten S$100 worth of vouchers with my points tau! *shakes fist*

But oh well issokey! At least we've settled the basics with our Isetan and IKEA vouchers previously, and now we can start to list all of the frills that we'd like to have in our house here yay!

Well, technically the kettle is something that we need to have really soon so we'll probably get that within the next one or two weeks ah. My little housewife (aka Saliheen) insists that he does not want to use an electric kettle so we're eyeing the Zebra Whistle Kettle for now.

Next in line in our wishlist will be the Philips Air Fryer XL... in white! Actually for all our kitchen appliances, kita nak beli in white or stainless steel ah. Itu sudah tentu sebab nak matching matching punya pasal.

Other stuff we want from Philips: One of their blenders (either the fancy one here or the basic one here), their rice cooker (here) and their newest noodle maker (here) hehe

And of course, how can we ever forget Saliheen's obsession since, like, forever??? That bugger has been lusting for a Dyson vacuum cleaner since he was, I don't know, a freaking embryo, probably! Which is why I said our current vacuum cleaner is a temporary one in this entry, its lifespan with us will probably end the minute we can afford a Dyson vacuum cleaner in our lives. RIP in advance, little guy! Lololol

We also have the white tower fan from Dyson in mind. No blades, so chic hor!

Oh, and in case you didn't know, he is also obsessed with steam cleaners WTFBBQSECKFMHOEURFNVIU SRSLY IF I HAD TO LISTEN TO JUST ONE MORE PASSIONATE SPEECH ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF STEAM CLEANERS I WILL SRSLY CUT SOMEONE IN THE FACE

Sigh. But that said, we mighttttt just get the Karcher steam cleaner that he obsesses about (here) after we get our kettle because I don't know if I can tahan this pain and suffering much longer *drama swasta*

Anyway, before you think our wishlist consists of just Saliheen's obsessions lolol, I also have things that I'd like in the house jugak leh! My additions seem frivolous when compared to my husband's tapi... AKU SUKA LAH PULAK. I'm dreaming of these babies for our home: Bosch Pop Up Toaster (here), Nepresso UMilk Coffee Machine (here), Kitchen Aid in Almond Cream (here) and Happy Call Waffles Maker (here). Frivolous yes, but so fun right my list! :P

In case anyone wants to gift something for our new home, the complete (but possibly ever-growing) wishlist will always be here. We will also greatly appreciate Isetan vouchers because we stumbled upon the brand WMF while we were in Isetan last weekend and their kitchenware are just... orgasmic. Both of us are incredibly smitten by their quality and design and we've agreed that we WILL build our very own WMF collection and then never leave our kitchen EVER!!!!!!! You can browse their gorgeous catalogue here ♥

  1. I've lusted over WMF for so long but tak berani nak beli because takut jadi obsessed macam makcik tupperware where i'll mati2 nak replace all my pots & pans with WMF and then my cause of Bankruptcy will be due to pots & pans. I die.

Lagi satu, based on experience, don't buy the 1.8L nya rice cooker yet.
Especially since there's only gonna be the two of you at home.
Me & Rusly beli the big rice cooker, step macam 8 orang tiinggal kat rumah. Then realised, for 2 person makan, i only cook 1.5 cups of rice each time and because the circumference of the rice cooker is so huge, the rice spread so thinly, abih nasi kita tak fluffy! It's so kering, lagik2 the bottom part. Sigh.

So we end up buying a super cute and small rice cooker. Think about 1L or less.
And now we can have fluffy rice!

    1. Will it be dengki if I buy 1 WMF pan for you as a gift and then make you become obsessed and then kita boleh sama sama terjun into the world of gloriou$$$ WMF????? Hahahahaha!

Eh thanks for the advice, we never thought of that! My mum gave us a rice cooker already actually tapi tak ingat pulak how big. Maybe we'll test that out first and then tukar to a smaller one if it doesn't work too good for 2 pax. Nak fluffy fluffy rice jugak!

  2. I lusted on WMF too when I went to Metro... while my husband lusted on Tefal because of the red dot (lol!!) ... The WMF collection is so bloody nice! But I might look at Sia Huat at chinatown as well to see their cookware range for comparison. Nasib kitchen tak besar... Otherwise, i can go crazy buying stuff. Lol
